Lutterworth Share and Care Group
Is coping with a family member who has dementia proving difficult for you?
If so, help is at hand for those people living in Lutterworth and the surrounding villages.
Lutterworth Share and Care Group provides a person-centred approach to supporting people living with dementia and their carers.
Here's what the Lutterworth Share and Care Group does:
LCSG is a social support organisation for people living with dementia. Our meetings focus on helping both the individual and their family adapt to living with dementia. The benefits for those attending include:
- Higher self esteem
- Reduced symptoms of depression
- Enhanced mood and behaviour
- Delay in admission to residential care
- Carers feel less isolated and more supported
Our meetings are run by professionals and volunteers who are trained to help those suffering from dementia cope better with their lives. We provide a warm welcome at our meetings.
